EMAP accreditation establishes an emergency management program's credibility by verifying that its disaster readiness and response capabilities meet rigorous national standards. It drives operational improvement by providing a structured framework for identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in planning, training, and resource allocation. Furthermore, accreditation enhances funding opportunities through independent, third-party validation and strengthens coordination across local, state, and tribal agencies during times of crisis.
JNPG Consulting is led by founder Jennifer Gomez. I have successfully helped a Fortune 250 company achieve EMAP accreditation and am a member of EMAP's Business Consultant Initiative (BCI). Through the BCI, I gain deeper insight into the intent and application of the Emergency Management Standard, as well as access to additional resources — enabling me to more effectively strengthen the resilience of the emergency management programs I work with.

I bring over 15 years of experience in highly regulated industries, including utilities, finance, and law enforcement. I returned to school and graduated last December, and I am currently pursuing my MBA. This combination of professional experience and academic training has equipped me with the expertise and practical know-how to excel in the planning and compliance arena. I bring genuine enthusiasm to this work, along with a real passion for emergency management.
